As the second largest public school district in Utah, West Valley City is part of the Granite School District. West Valley Learning Center
Salt Lake Community College opened West Valley Center in 2015 to focus on giving more local students the opportunity to attend college classes closer to home with accessible public transportation. The beautiful campus brings college life benefits to the city, inviting students to extend their learning after high school. More than 50 general education courses and numerous community-learned courses are offered. The community college’s location within West Valley City enables students to connect with local businesses to build beneficial relationships for job recruitment and workforce development.
